“Between Thanatos and Hypnos”

There's nothing left,
One day I woke up.
On Heaven a meadow
Just two arch angels, Gabriel and Michael,
Loquacious as two gabble parrots.
Silently I stared upon them
With curious baffled eyes.
The two are acknowledge-able in assimilation
Talking big words of God’s Mercy and Grace.
Tis quite teasingly a talented joke.
And I heard a jeer from a jerk,
Chanting Praise the Lord the Almighty evermore.
For evermore, for evermore,
We all were baptized,
Purified, donated, and then elected.
For evermore, for evermore, God is standing still,
In the middle of the deep, watching.
Praise the Lord for evermore,
And may those wretched
Die in peace in the China quake.
Blessed the Lord forever young,
Let Nature coexist with human nature.
Let all races are equal and united under God’s decree.
For evermore, for evermore,
In God we are One Big Family.
